• The wire is definitely more bendy compared to the charging cables, but as long as you don't twist it around or fold it too much it should last for pretty long. I'd say it would maybe stop working after a year or two if you're careful.

• Yes. They last a very long time. I’ve had one that lasted two years, then I lost it.
