If you are referring to Apple Lightning-3.5mm Adapter Wht then the answer is no. This adapter is to connect iPhone 7s and later to aux-jack headphones and speakers. In order to connect a newer Mac Air to HDMI you need a USB-C to HDMI adapter. Older Mac Airs (not sure the date of change) need a mini-display port to HDMI adapter.
