• Your mid-2011 model iMac MIGHT be upgradeable, both RAM and hard drive. That said, yes, a Mac Mini should be able to attach to your current monitor. What you need to do is figure out which cord is needed to go from your new Mac Mini to your old iMac monitor, as it may require purchasing an adapter (they are widely available). Hope this helps!

• No but if you already have a keyboard, mouse, etc then all you would need is a monitor to replace the iMac
