i have no idea why they would discontinue it; the laptop is brand new. They keep a small shipment of these computers in a lock case in the store, so the display one is all you will see. You will have to ask an employee about actually buying one in store. If they do not have the computer you want at that time, they will send in an order for it with both an in store and delivery option. If you pick in store, it's free and you'd get it 2 days sooner than the delivery option.
