Without knowing your intended usage unfortunately would be difficult to answer. Graphic designer? No. Image/Video editing? No. Surfing the internet? Yes. Video streaming? Yes. Online gaming? Minimal. Max memory level is 24 GB to the best of my knowledge and Apple typically solders RAM.
