Yes you can. I believed you would need to find a better monitor that can handle similar specs of the 15 inch M2 MacBook Air. For example Apple Studio Display. The MacBook Air needs to be powered on and close with cables connecting from laptop to the monitor. This is called clamshell mode. You can get a docking station for it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can definitely use this laptop as a desktop setup if you like. I have a 27" Samsung monitor connected via HDMI and a Logitech Webcam connected via USB-A both to an Anker USB-C docking station using an old 96W Apple USB-C Power supply in passthrough. Add in the Apple Magic Keyboard w/ TouchID and Magic Trackpad connected, along with a Bose wireless speaker, all connected via Bluetooth. All I have to do is power on the MacBook Air, close the lid, slide it under my desk and plug in the single USB-C cable (From the Anker Dock) and everything connects and works beautifully as well as keeps my MacBook Air fully charged up. When I want to hit the road, just unplug that one cable and I am good to go out the door or roam the house freely.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can but it HAS to be plugged into a power source and the monitors has to be plugged in before closing the lid / screen
