Yes there is, but for the price and upgrades Apple includes with the Touch Bar model, I think you'll find the extra upfront cost well worth the money. If you're looking for more memory and processing power, this is a much better value that'll make you happier for a lot more years to come.

Yes there is, but it must be special ordered either through Best Buy or Apple directly. It's about $300 less than the Touch Bar version and has a slower i5 processor.

I'm pretty sure that i5, 8G, and 512G ssd (without the touch bar) is available on the 15" version of the Pro. I was originally going to go with one without the touch bar, but I wanted the 13" and 512G, but I'm actually very pleased with it! It's a lot more functional that I thought it would be.
