“Can I edit videos on it with IMovie and/or will it slow the Mac down if I were to install Final Cut Pro X onto it?”

• I dowloaded the trial of final cut pro and it did slow my laptop a little bit. iMovie is great though.

• I did face slowing down issue. I had multiple tabs and imovies opened and system got hanged for few seconds.

• On this one, definitely NO! It’s a beast of hardware. You can run the Final Cur Pro X easily and work for many hours without any problem, I am personally using it for software development and run many heavy applications on it. Mac book pro 2018 handles it very smooth.
