USB C ports only
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has two (2) USB-C ports that support USB4 & Thunderbolt 3...so capable of way faster data transfer speeds than USB2 or 3, but yes - it supports those USB standards as well. To get the maximum data transfer speeds you've got to connect a device that also supports Thunderbolt 3 or USB4. Note there are *no* USB-A ports (the rectangle connector, like on most USB flash drives), so you'll need an adaptor or dongle to plug in any USB device that doesn't have a USB-C connector...but this has been the norm on MacBooks since the mid to late 2010s.

A “USB C hub” typically has the connections you are looking for. I personally like to have Ethernet, HDMI, USB C, and USB A connectors on my hubs.
