Yes , need to get the new one to synchronize all your files etc . Wonderful Easy to transfer your data to the new one , instructions easy to follow it takes about 20-30 minutes and that It , But You need to have the older one next to the new one . Maybe ICloud could help to get all your files in case you want to trade it first.
