I never have. I have never had to use it. I would say if you are very rough on equipment, then go ahead and buy it. But for something that sits on a desk 24/7, i never saw a use for it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah, and I used it twice. Regular wear replacement related. I used the laptop daily for work, education and my hobbies. With the replacement parts the warranty allowed me to get it's still going five years later no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely. I have always had to use it. I wouldn't consider buying an Apple product without it. It's worth every penny.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't, and usually don't buy extended warranty programs. I suggest you do the math: how much is the extended warranty as a fraction of the purchase price? Is the premium worth the peace of mind to you? As I recall the recent offers were 10-20%, which seemed too much to me. You're buying insurance -- think of it that way and it helps the decision. The peace of mind may be worth more to you than me ... YMMV. Extended warranty of course only covers what the base warranty doesn't. You're more likely to encounter failure early in product lifetime ... or late ... not as much in the middle (called the bathtub curve in systems reliability engineering).
