This not a gaming laptop. Yes you can play game by installing windows on parallel., but it won't be even close to any cheaper gaming laptop in 1000 - 1200$ range. But the user experience and quality is by far better than any windows laptop. I use it for all my development and not having any over heating problem. The overall experience of this machine is way better than any windows laptop.

I think, though, it honestly depends on your specific game as Mac is not exactly well-known for gaming. But the games it does play, it plays well. I recommend looking up a list of games natively compatible with Apple Silicon.
