At a discount right now, here @ Best Buy it’s a savings of $700 You can save even more if you look around for a brand new Max 1 - 32/32/1TB Very few deals to be had on the new M2 Max MBP - @$3500, that’s a significant chunk of change. Save 700 now and sell it for the new M6 four years from now for 70% of the price you paid vs 70% of retail. The two are extremely powerful computers and depending what you’re doing, it’s a limited field you’ll see any difference between them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just got my new 16" macbook pro M2Max. It is by far the fastest computer I have ever owned. Everything works great as advertised.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends what your budget is. I went ahead and got the m2 Max cause i had the 12 month interest free financing. Both are capable machines. I just opted for the new model just casue it was available.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Undoubtedly the m2 is better, it has newer apple silicon so more power, better graphics, thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 which supports 4k at 144 Hz. But this is always true on new model, next year there might be m3, following year m4 at some point OLED, touch screen and the list goes on. If m2 fulfils your need and you don't need hdmi 2.1 moreover if you get a better deal like 300 - 400$ off on the m1 max then go with it. It's all comes to your preference if you want the last bit of performance and want the latest, need hdmi 2.1 then get the m2, you you don't need that you can't go wrong with m1 max, it's still great. I have m2 max, my friend has last year m1 max model, I literally see no difference in any critical tasks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd go with the pro (which I bought). The computer is very ergonomically friendly (me coming from a 2019 MacBook pro with an i9 processor). The battery life is pretty good too. What are you going to use the laptop for?
