• Yes, it works in either orientation. However, if you intend to hold it portrait-style you will have to type sideways. I believe people end up doing that a lot because when the iPad is attached and not being used laptop-style (it is freakin' awesome for this), I hold it like a book and just type the few things required. This will probably be an easier task for lefties, but even as a righty, it is not an issue. UPDATE: After re-reading your question, I now believe you are asking if it has the "twist feature" wherein the iPad can be mounted to the stand while vertically oriented. That is a big NO. That is because this keyboard is a feat of balance. It the iPad was vertically oriented, the stand would tip over.
