“Is the exterior of the keyboard made of a leather material? As well are there different material options?”

In a word - No. The only material options are color, unfortunately those are only available on the 2021 version and the only other choice is white.

It really is a nice keyboard, works great, connected easy, its lightweight and easy to carry. Very convenient if you type alot on ur ipad!
