So there's no place for apple pencil to hold secure? null

This keyboard does not interfere with the Apple Pencil’s magnetic attachment—that function hasn’t changed with the advent of this new keyboard or the new iPad Pro.

It secures to the ipad just like it would without the case the case does not interfere

The top edge of the iPad is exposed so you can attach the Apple Pencil 2 magnetically to the top edge. No place to hold the Apple Pencil 1 since it doesn’t have the magnetic attachment feature.
