Does it work with iPad Air 9th gen? null

This works with iPad Airs from generation 4 to present (6th).

It works with all iPad Air 4th & 5th generations (10.9”) and iPad Pro 11” models. IPad Air only goes up to 5th gen currently & I believe 6th gen will be available in the fall. Are you sure you have an iPad Air or is it just an iPad? You should be able to see what your model is under “Settings, General, & About”. Look at the “Model Name”.
