• I think that as long as you don't have the home bottom on the screen it should fit

• The keyboard doesn't work with 2nd generation I pad. 2nd generation is bigger, and is not made to attach to the magnetic keyboard. I still use second generation I pad but the latest generation I Pad is totally awesome.
