I can't say for sure, but I have the first generation and I find using a stylus +h magic trackpad with Photoshop and Illustrator to be a great experience. I would assume the second generation is the same, if not better. There are also apps out there that let you tweak your trackpad gestures and other things that make the stylus combination even better. It's no iPad Pro...and an Apple Pencil would be unnecessary. But the answer to you question is yes. I think it is a great and accurate way to free hand draw with photo and illustration applications.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I looked into this a couple months ago and toy Couldnt use a stylus with it. I edit a ton of photos and painting with your finger works well. I'm going look into this again!
