• It sure will! A new 4K monitor will be a huge upgrade and we’ll worth the money. But in a pinch this will hook an old vga monitor to a new Mac.

• Hello Mel. It may have worked three months ago. My guess is that you may have already figured this out. But if not you can take pictures with your phone of each connection end and go to the nearest Best Buy and see if they have the adapter you need.
