• Yes best buy has a cable for charging your magic keyboard. You can also try the one that charges your iphone or ipad

• This should work: I charge my Magic Mouse by placing it under display on the foot of computer stand while the computer is in sleep mode. I think the keyboard will charge if it is placed on the computer stand while the Mac is in the sleep model. It is worth a try.
