- Answer This keyboard will work with any iPad that has Bluetooth. Although some of the function keys are intended specifically for macOS so they may not work exactly for iOS.

- Answer Yeah, that's primarily what I use it for since I felt like the keyboard cases weren't protective enough and once I got an otterbox on it, the other keyboards couldn't connect to it. It's light and portable and pretty ideal for the iPad if you don't like the on-screen keyboard.

- Answer Absolutely. The keyboard will need to be paired with your iPhone X via Bluetooth. Hold the button on the side of the keyboard for a few seconds, goto into your Bluetooth settings on your iPhone and search for new devices. Once it appears, click on the keyboard to begin pairing. A pairing message will appear on your phone. Using the keyboard, type in the code. This will complete pairing and your keyboard should work within all text apps and programs.

- Answer Should be fine but if the machines are close to each other you might need to turn Bluetooth off on the one you don’t want it to sync to. I switched between two iMacs and it worked well, just put one into standby so it doesn’t wake when you go to the other machine

- Answer Yes, the Magic Keyboard 2 is an Apple product and it very easily pairs with any Mac (mine is a docked MacBook Pro). The keys are not backlit, so you can not easily see the keys in the dark.

- Answer I’m pretty sure that the port in the keyboard is for charging purposes only. From my research, it seems like you’d need Bluetooth to use this accessory.

- Answer I see no reason it should not, if you follow the recommended steps in the manual.Connect it first time to your iPad using the provided usb for it to sync.Afterwards you should be able to connect wirelessly.I recommend you read the manual online.
