I see no reason it should not, if you follow the recommended steps in the manual.Connect it first time to your iPad using the provided usb for it to sync.Afterwards you should be able to connect wirelessly.I recommend you read the manual online.

Yes, all apple products interact very well with each other. In this case both are BT devices that can be paired. That’s all what’s needed.
