• Yes, the Magic Keyboard 2 is an Apple product and it very easily pairs with any Mac (mine is a docked MacBook Pro). The keys are not backlit, so you can not easily see the keys in the dark.

• This keyboard uses Bluetooth in order to connect to your Mac. This keyboard works with a mac that has bluetooth enabled. Unfortunately, the keyboard does not light up so you can see in the dark.
