“What does the apple pen even do that makes it worth it?”

• Personally, I don’t think it’s worth it for the average person. It’s fun to be able to hand write, like in search boxes, instead of relying on the touchscreen keyboard. But honestly I rarely use the pencil and if I went back in time wouldn’t bother buying it.

• To be honest if you are not into drawing or creating visual content the pen might be useless. They are lots of apps that works great with the pen and the latest iPad models put this device into test.
