Yes, if you connect it magnetically to the side of a compatible iPad it should pair through bluetooth. Note it will only connect to a compatible ipad.

Yea it does once you plug it to you ipad it automatically connects

It appears it does. When I open my iPad Pro settings and look. Under Bluetooth I do see it listed as an option
