• You need a sim card for your cellular carrier (Verizon, sprint, total wireless etc). This phone is “unlocked” -meaning you can use any carrier you wish. Since each carrier has its own sim card, you will need to purchase it separately. Mine was $1.00 for the Total Wireless SIM.
