“Will this unlocked phone work on the verizon network?”

Yes. I also have Verizon. I just took the SIM card out of my iPhone 6 and put into the iPhone 8.

No, the phone will not work with Sprint, Verizon Wireless, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, or any other CDMA network.
