You can try, but it is not as easy to use on my lap as the laptop.. I mainly use it to take notes in meetings, and we have tables. It is just easier to type notes than to try to use the work Windows Laptop that I have docked on my desk. It works very well for me.

Works on a lap but there are much better combinations to use for that. This will work but wobbles more than a laptop would.

Yes, it can be used on your lap. I was able to use it on my lap And type comfortably while sitting at the airport waiting for a flight. On the plane, fits easily on tray table.
