“I have a 2022 Chevy Equinox without a cd player & miss playing my cds & listening to "books on tape" (yup, I'm old school). A youtube tutorial said I need an external player that basically convinces the system to think it's an iPod. Will this do that?”

It does have an option to set up disks as a USB device which will allow it play as an iPod. Enjoy your music I'm old school too
