Can I transfer a DVD HomeMovies to my iMac photos? null

Actually I figured out how to do it. There is a software called handbrake and they can convert DVD HomeMovies to transfer to your computer. I took the information from the DVDs and now they’re in my photos on my iMac

not sure i bought the device for my daughter, i would contact apple for help. they may be able to answer this question..
