• As it is an iMAC and made by Apple, yes, you will just need an open USB A port.

• I would think so, but you should ask at your local Best Buy. I HAD a 2010 and just bought a 2018 IMAC 27". It connects to my new Mac perfectly, no extra cables needed and it said it was MAC compatible on the box. Good luck!
