Is there an opening for SD cards? PjB null

The only slot is for cds and dvds.

No there isn't an opening for sd cards you would have to buy a separate SD card reader for your Mac or MacBook pro another option would be to get a USB hub which have one or multiple SD card slots.

there is no sd card slot
