Unfortunately there’s not really a way to use the thumb drive directly with an iPad, although, you could email yourself the files from another device such as a computer, and then open the email on the iPad and download the files directly to the iPad from your email. Hope that helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Apple makes a Lighting to USB adapter which was designed for connecting a camera to download images to the iPad. I doubt the USB thumb drive will show up in the Apple “Files” app that are on all iPads and iPhones now. There are travel routers from TP-LINK and HooToo as well as other companies that do have USB ports that all you to mount a hard drive or thumb drive wirelessly to an iPad. Just search for “travel router”. They are normally used to bridge a wireless network with a portal to multiple devices so you only pay once, but they have server functions in them too.
