What is the advantage of an Apple TV? null

The remote on our smart TV has about 600 buttons and a cluttered OS. I was an AV geek before the term was invented, and I'm uncomfortable with it. My technophobe wife won't touch it at all. We love ours.

Advantage when compared with what? If you're comparing with a Roku Ultra, there is no practical advantage for the Apple TV, and the Apple TV costs more, so it's not as good a value for money as a Roku Ultra. If you're comparing with Fire Cube, I pick the Apple TV hands down.
