The fourth generation Apple TV came out in 2015. That being said, the Apple TV that Best Buy sells currently and the prior generation or the generation before that one will be compatible with Optimum. do you identify the generation of the Apple TV, If it has a trackpad, ,Siri, or more than three buttons, it will be the fourth generation Apple TV or newer. The remote included in the picture is for the second and third generation Apple TV.
