Yes it does. I use it with my 2XL

This is what I bought the product for. Yes it does work. It does seem to lower the volume quite a bit, but it still works well for headphones. The only time it really doesn't work well is in the car. I had to crank it to Max volume to have it cover the sound of my car, but it does work well.
