It can be used without a cellular plan. It works by GPS.

I can still receive messages and do everything I need to on the watch as what I would be able to do with the phone, the phone just has to be within a certain distance of the watch.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No necesito plan de datos para usarlo. Lo puedo sincronizarlo a mi iPhone y queda funcional al 100%, aunque si lo quiere aprovechar al máximo con total independencia puedes adquirir un plan para él y lo sincroniza con tus audífonos
