You can use AT&T numbersync (if you have a postpaid account, not a prepaid one) on the watch to make and recieve calls, SMS/MMS, etc., using your same phone number and not a different one. If it isn't active, the watch will have it's own number. (Note, the watch mobile number cannot be used for voice, data or text messaging from the watch. Please remember to complete AT&T NumberSync setup to use your watch on the AT&T cellular network with your iPhone number. With AT&T NumberSync active, calls and messages using your watch will display your AT&T iPhone number.) It's $10/month for a watch to be added to your plan, and AT&T Unlimited Elite, AT&T Unlimited Extra, and AT&T Unlimited Starter are the plans currently compatible.
