• You can purchase Apple Care even after you buy the watch, as long as it is within 60 days from the purchase date. You can purchase it over the phone with Apple Support, go to an Apple Store, or visit the "My Support" page on Apple's website and add coverage there.

• I believe you have about 39-60 days to do so after purchase. You can make sure on the apple website you usually put in the watch serial number and it tells you if you’re still available to buy apple care.

• If I’m not mistaken. Best Buy gives you up to 14 Days from your original purchase date do buy the Apple care.
