Only if you get one with cellular which is a little more expensive then Verizon wireless charges $10 a month you can leave your phone at home and just use your watch However the speakers are not that great on the 3 that you would want to sit and talk on it for any length of time I mainly use mine so if I’m at work and my phones in my purse I get a text I can respond I get a phone call I can answer it and talk to them until I get to my phone
