Yes, it will work. I bought the gps cersion and it works great!

Yes, the only difference in the 2 models is the LTE capability in the the LTE Cellular version, but with the GPS version you can still do text, call and everything on your watch AS LONG as your phone is nearby and connected to the watch

It works this way with Sprint; I assume it works similarly with the other mobile phone companies as well.
