• I purchased my watch 3 weeks ago and I did not have an activation fee. The added line cost $10 more a month AND I got notice last week that I qualified for a $60 bonus to be credited to my account in 3mos! A very pleasant surprise.

• Yes, but if you call they usually waive the fee for you if you ask nicely.
