• Yes you can swim, shower, count your step and track flights of stairs walked and distance throughout the day. It also has the functionality to track your heart rate and rhythm and can alert you to a pre-set increase or decrease in heart rate. For women the new update includes a cycle tracker.

• Yes and yes. Although if you are burning lots of calories in the shower, you are doing it wrong. When you swim with it, it will automatically recognize it and start a workout tracker for you... or you can set one before you jump in the pool.

• It is advertised as being waterproof; I haven't tried it. It does count steps and calories burned.
