You can be up to 50 feet from your phone and be connected. You cannot watch videos from the watch, unfortunately and the watch does track all your calories burned as long as you are wearing it, whether you are exercising or not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The range of the watch varies but I have been at least 40-50 feet away from phone and watch will still ring. Videos I have not tried but would be shocked if you could play them, for instance I have Wyze Cameras and it will notify you and show you a picture of the event but you have to go to phone to view video, ESPN works the same way. It is supposed to track activity and does but having phone inside the house and not with me I have not verified how accurate it is for sure
