For watch cellular to work you have to activate it with your phone provider. The watch will be provided an independent identification from your provider, that’s why ATT charge $10 monthly for the watch. So, it’s like an additional line. Having that said, same charges as the phone will apply if you use it abroad. You need to check with your provider to find out how much it’ll cost you. Hope this helps.
