There is no reason then. I myself have T-Mobile but I didn’t want the extra line so I just got GPS it’s works flawlessly with my phone i can make and receive phone calls with no problems and no extra fees or phone lines. Other than wanting to spread out the purchase to pay for the product there is no reason to get it through a carrier. Hope this helps.
