No, the more expensive watch that says verizon has it's own cell antenna that can connect to verizon towers even without your phone around. This usually runs an extra $10 on your verizon bill to connect though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No the price changes if you need to get cell service. One has cell service and one doesn't. You need a separate phone plan for the one that doesn't have cell service. But both will connect to your phone and operate through your phone.
