Starting with the Apple Watch Series 6, Apple stopped including the USB power adapter in the box in an effort to reduce electronic waste. They assume that many people already have USB adapters from previous devices. You can use any existing USB power adapter you have, or purchase one separately. Just ensure that it's compatible and provides the right amount of power for safe charging.

Apple tries to sell it as their effort of reducing waste and being Environmentally conscious but we all know it is to sell the accessory separately. Also, it requires the new “quick charge block” that fits the new cord Or, you can buy a conversion piece that allows the use of your old usb box. Whenever more profits are needed a new style cord or headphone comes out. Of course it’s called “An updated Version” just like the charging pads.
