• I believe you have to have an iPhone. The watch is basically an extension of the phone. You could always contact Apple to verify for 100% accuracy.

• I synced my watch with my Iphone. I'm guessing it can be synced with your IPad if you use that to make/receive phone calls, but check with your carrier to be sure.

• My Ipad does not have cellular. My watch has a separate phone number through Verizon that I use for text and calls on my Ipad.
